I dont think so its a bug. Maybe you just have enough items in your defense that are 52 in defense or higher and this helmet is not improving your defense. Thats all

I've noticed with all items I buy that are defense the pop up says ur attack has been increased altho, in fact, the defense has... the zyngIdiots haven't figured out a way to generate the proper pop up to denote when it is defense. They all will say attack...
