Cake Jailbreak Event

You can have your cake and eat it too with the upcoming Cake Jailbreak event! You'll have a limited time to collect different cakes from your mafia to earn awesome new mastery items. You'll be working on 3 cakes filled with escape tools to get out of jail. Each cake will have 3 levels of mastery for you to complete. As you finish one level, you'll move on to a more challenging level. Get on your Mafia's good side and have them send you as many cakes as you can get your hands on!

The Birthday Cake, Wedding Cake, and Cupcakes will be unlocked one at a time and available to send from your free gifts page. Help your friends out during the event by sending these special desserts their way so they'll reap the sweet rewards as well. Once you master all 3 cakes through the gold level, you'll be rewarded with the grand prize for your efforts.

Thanksgiving is upon us. This is a time when we can take a break from our life of crime and gather our Mafia Family around and give thanks. Thanks for the wars we’ve had, the health we’ve been able to regenerate, the stamina we’ve been able to build up, the missions we’ve completed and of course the loot we’ve been able to obtain.

In honor of our extended Mafia Families and to celebrate Thanksgiving, we are holding a contest… Dish it Out. The rules are simple, cook up a Mafia Wars theme dish as part of your holiday meal-making, take a picture and post it, along with a brief description, to this forum by 11:59 pm PST on Sunday, November 27th, 2010. Then the community will have an opportunity to vote on their top 3 favorites. The top 3 that receive the most votes will receive 1000 reward points, 25,000 loyalty points and a Mafia Wars Jacket. 

Winners will be announced on Friday, December 3rd, 2010

Details:

• The dish must be Mafia Wars themed. BE CREATIVE!
• A brief description of the dish must be included in the post.
• After submissions have been made the community will be able to vote on their favorite dish

• No insulting pictures that other’s have posted
• Posting will end 11:59 pm on Sunday, November 27th, 2010

New Banner - Build Exclusive Weapons

2x Mastery Boost cannot be Received in ZMC (Zynga Message Center)

When I try to receive a 2x Mastery Boost, I get a 'There was an error with this request' message in red, and then the request disappears.  When I reopen ZMC, the request is back again, but I still cannot receive it.

Our programmers are aware of this error and are investigating.
If you would like that request to go away for good, you can click the 'Ignore' text.  Otherwise, you can leave it unclaimed until the error is fixed.
Customer Support does not need additional reports regarding this specific issue, as CS agents are unable to correct the error.
