A: Accounts can be suspended when our systems detect irregular activity and/or if we have determined that it has violated the Mafia Wars Terms of Service.
Q: What is "irregular" activity?
A: Irregular activity can include, but are not limited to, the following:
-high-frequency activity that is beyond humanly possible means
-high-frequency activity that serves no in-game benefit
-attempts to repeatedly access links not promoted by Zynga
-attempts to access/manipulate your account through other means to give yourself an advantage, or to the detriment of the experience of other players
-unauthenticated acceleration in statistics, points or items

A: The duration of this suspension will be based on the type, frequency, or nature of activity detected. Most suspensions will last 7 days. Extreme cases can result in longer or indefinite suspensions. Accounts that are linked with selling posts/sites/forums can be indefinitely suspended. This suspension cannot be appealed. Accounts with extensive history of unauthorized credit card transactions are also subject to indefinite suspension.
1.10. Suspension and Termination of Account and Service

Zynga reserves the right to stop offering and/or supporting the Service or a particular game or part of the Service at any time, at which point your license to use the Service or a part thereof will be automatically terminated. In such event, Zynga shall not be required to provide refunds, benefits or other compensation to users in connection with such discontinued Services.
Termination of your Account can include disabling your access to the Service or any part thereof including any content you submitted or others submitted.
Q: My suspension is unfair! Your information is wrong.
A: Please note that the process is automated, consistent, and accurate. Suspensions are only given in the cases where our system has detected highly irregular, non-standard activity in the account or in cases where our Security team has determined a direct link to selling posts/sites/forums. Customer support agents do not have access to the Security team's information.
Q: I'd like a second opinion! I want proof!
A: Customer support agents are not authorized to lift suspensions. Per section 1.10 of the Terms of Service, Zynga is not obligation to provide information about an account pertaining to failure to comply with the Terms of Service.
Q: My activity only looks that way because I spent a lot of money.
A: Our system is calibrated to take into account the effect of purchased points. Accounts with unauthorized credit card transactions (i.e. "injections"), or refunded payments may be subject to a statistical correction, or a suspension.
Q: My friend was suspended, how do I get them back in game?
A: Customer Support can only communicate with your friend if the friend has submitted a ticket. Submitting a ticket on your friend's behalf will not improve his/her chances. Sending appeals to Zynga executives will not help an appeal. For privacy reasons, Customer Support will only discuss a player's account with that account's owner, not their friends.
Q: I was unsuspended and now my stats are different!
A: We are dedicated to providing an excellent game play experience for all of our players. To achieve this goal, we must maintain a level playing field to ensure honest competition in the game. As a result, necessary adjustments have been made to your account stats to protect ensure fair game play between you and other players. The adjustment we made will also prevent your account from being flagged by our system again so long as you pursue normal game play pursuant to the Mafia Wars TOS (http://www.zynga.com/about/terms-of-service.php)
