Facebook issue with Games Posts?

Is this really an issue? You can't post game posts on your timeline, and posts from some or most games are not visible on your News Feed? At this moment you can't post from Mafia Reloaded, Mob Wars and Mob Wars LCN. Question is, does Facebook has an issue with Games Posts or something else is in play. Is Facebook again marking posts from games as spam. We've been there not so far ago. Well, something is going on with games posts (not all of them, but more or most).
On June, 30th Facebook started an update to "help  reduce low quality links in News Feed".

Games on Facebook - white screen of death (UPDATE 01/06/2016)

Update (01/06/2016) 

Temporarily disable Spocks toolbar. You will be able (or should) to enter the game, pick bonuses, play normally not only unframed. This is obviously not Facebook mess, problems caused Spocks toolbar. You can always turn that extension on if you are using that script.

With disabling that toolbar you will be able to enter and other games on Facebook. 

My apologizes to Facebook for blaming them yesterday.
Hope disabling Spocks extension would help, and that they will solve this issue soon.


Games on Facebook - white screen of death

Not only Zynga's games, but other or on most of them you will get white screen of death. I've checked some of them, and result is the same.
This is Facebook's mess - report it if you are having the same problem.

For Mafia Wars players, playing unframe is only option for players that are getting white screen.

Point is: FACEBOOK IS DOWN!!!

You may like to press option Check but you will get (5th image): Too many connections.

Facebook's Issue

I was in the middle of the game when got first popup: "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can". I choose Go Back option and my game start to loading. Two gray screens and then: "Service Unavailable". After few more refreshings I was able to go back in the game. As for now that is happening in Mafia Wars game. If anybody has the same problem and in different game do not panic, you will be able to play after refreshing. At this moment Facebook is working on fix or fix problems already.

Virus through videos on Facebook - DO NOT CLICK on those

So this is what we are dealing with TODAY ESP!
This morning I've found that I was tagged on almost 10 videos like this one bellow.
All of you who are tagging your friends, you prob clicked on something you should not, and everybody that like, comment and share that  at that moment are affected. 

This is virus and it is going through your friend list.
For all that are tagging friends, maybe reporting to Facebook will not be that bad idea. Can be that you have been hacked. 

So, if you do not wish to report to FB at least: delete all videos that are on your timeline, check from where you were log on and "end activity" for all except this one you are logged now, change your pass, run AV, reboot and then log back on. Change pass again. If that does not help, ask FB for recovery pass.

Facebook News Feeds and Timelines ISSUE

It seems that every moment more and more Facebook users are affected. Yesterday, it looks like that it would be just isolated cases and that Facebook will resolve that  problem but things are much more different today. Users can't see their Timelines and News Feed, they cant post almost nothing from the games. Their friends can see their Timelines, but playing games is almost impossible because not all posts from the games are posted on those Timelines. Some mobile users are "lucky" and they can post status or even upload images, and through mobiles they are able to see Timeline and News Feeds, but it is very small number of those lucky FB users. 

I do hope that Facebook will fix that soon, until that, well known: patience please!

FACEBOOK WAS DOWN - reason is maintenance

If you got ERROR message and was not able to enter Facebook even Facebook Help option, reason was or maybe still is for some users: FACEBOOK IS UNAVAILABLE - The website is currently under maintenance. I've checked server status several minutes ago and, as you can see on the bellow images Facebook should be up now. If by any case for you still it is not, give them some time to do whatever they are doing.

NO News Feeds on Facebook for some time

For some time there were NO NEWS FEEDS ON FACEBOOK.
Seems they are back now.

If you are still affected, report problem to Facebook.

Users without Timelines - Facebook

This started about an hour ago. No timelines, just message:

Sorry, but this page didn't load properly. Please try again.

Facebook is UP, but users has no timelines and activity logs.

News Feeds are working.

To report this I do not know if necessary because this, as it seems for now, "affected" all Facebook users and I am pretty sure that Facebook knows what is going on.

Advice: patience

Facebook is doing his job. So if you get this popup just wait not more then minute or two, 

you will be able to get back. For that you need only to press TRY AGAIN option.

White Screen on FB Home page and Timeline

For Chrome Users (or Chrome based users)!

There is a large possibility to have white screen on Facebook Home Page and Timeline.
For me, Facebook is working normally on mozilla.

Be Very Skeptical About Suggestions Facebook Will Buy Zynga

Now that Zynga's stock has cratered, there are reports thatFacebook could buy Zynga.

Could Facebook buy Zynga? Of course it could buy Zynga. And with its pile of cash Apple couldbuy Facebook.

Just because something could happen doesn't mean it will.

And yet, Zynga's stock got a tiny jolt this morning when NBC picked up on a Seeking Alpha report that Facebook could buy Zynga. (Welcome to public markets, guys! Fun times.)

Given Zynga's very close relationship with Facebook a rumor like this might make sense to outsiders. But you should be extremely skeptical.

First off, the whole acquisition talk is centered on a conspiracy theory that Facebook is no longer featuring Zynga's games to drive its stock price down. Zynga confirmed that Facebook changed its algorithm to feature newer games on its earnings call, and this has actually not hurt Zynga much, for two reasons:

• The decline of Zynga's web games wasn't a result of the algorithm change. That happened late in Q2, and Zynga's web games were already declining well before that.

• The change in Facebook's algorithm favors newer games, which also includes Zynga's new games. The Ville, for example, received a 4.5 million install bump once Zynga turned on cross-promotion.

Second of all, it just doesn't make sense for Facebook to spend money buying a company that makes Facebook games, because it already gets money from every gaming company on the platform. Facebook charges a 30 percent fee for every transaction, whether it's on a Zynga game or any other company.

Buying a big company like Zynga would be a huge risk. If Facebook were to buy Zynga and a new gaming company like Kixeye suddenly shot to the top of the charts, Facebook would be caught flat-footed.

Facebook would benefit the most by doing what it has always done — working with whichever companies are popular at the time — given the short shelf life of Facebook games.

We've also already made the case that Facebook games are already declining in favor of mobile games, with newer Facebook games not reaching the same peaks they used to catapult to after launch.

Zynga is in the process of evolving into a mobile gaming company, with nearly half its users coming from mobile games. If Facebook were to buy Zynga, it would receive 100 percent of the income from in-game purchases in mobile games, but already mobile games do not monetize as well as Facebook games.

Zynga is also getting ready for its third act: real-money gambling games. We have made the case that real-money gambling games are at least a billion-dollar opportunity for Zynga, which would at least double the value of the company.

Pincus confirmed that Zynga's first "real-money gaming" products in international markets in the first half of 2013 — referring to that same real-money gambling opportunity.

Right now, buying Zynga represents too much of a risk, even if the company's stock is floating around a cheap $3. And it would be a disservice to Zynga for Pincus to sell, because there is a huge potential upside for Zynga if real-money gambling games work out.
