If you missed the Assassin during his first round of appearances, don't worry because he'll be making his appearance again!

Q: I keep icing players, but can’t find the Assassin. Where did the Assassin go?
A: The Raven went into stealth mode and flew the coop on 6/20/11. He will likely not return to the game till early July.
Q: Why did the Assassin disappear with no warning?
A: A new Boss Fight will be released this week. The Assassin gets scared off and flees when a new boss comes to town. This was not messaged properly in the game.
Q: How will I know when the Assassin comes back?
A: The return of the Boss Fight will feature more prominent in-game messaging and provide details on how to fight him.

Well, this....i really do not know how to call it. This is not issue, bug, but simply: bad, poor, miserable and without excuses. Somebody there is not doing his job.
