I have just checked it that we have new features on the Collection & Vault page. All Collections are being sorted together and we have 3 options of Collection now :

Choose a city, Crew Collection and Special Collection!


Also the new Crew Collections and Vegas collections were released today!

You can see them on your Collection & Vault page and choose Vegas city

VEGAS COLLECTIONS

If you logon into your account you will notice a new message on your homepage.

When you click on the "Get to Work!" button you will be awarded your first item and you can ask your friends to help you find the others. If they find the item, you get one too.

For Crew Collection, you see by choosing the Crew Collections tab.

In order to get your Crew Collections items, you can not directly "Ask for help" from your mafia..

I found it took between 1 to 5 clicks. If you run out of energy, you will have 1 hour to finish the search.

Crew Collections

These are special types of collections that require your Mafia's help in order to finish. Mission specific items have a rare chance to drop on any job, while others will have to be found by your Mafia through job assistance. Here are some more things to know:

Asking for help -
1. You can only put out 1 request for 1 collection every 48 hours.
2. Up to 5 Mafia Members can help you on a single request only.
3. Once a Mafia member decides to help you, they must have the item drop from a random job. They only have limited time to do so.

Helping your Mafia -
1. You cannot help more than 1 friend at one time.
2. On successfully helping, both you and the friend get the item.
3. You can only help up to 5 friends in a 24 hour period.

Misc -
1. There is no re-vaulting of these collections.
2. You can ask for help once an item drops or straight from the collections page.
3. New crew collections will be added in the future.

Mafia Wars Vegas update and new Crew Collections coming soon!

According to the Mafia Wars Community News page, players will be flying from San Juan back to the city that never sleeps very soon. Zynga will soon be opening up Vegas Districts 7 and 8, which will surely contain new jobs, items and bosses to fight.

Also, new Crew Collections will be coming to Mafia Wars soon, which will require you once again to team up with your mafia to find seven items to unlock more vaults containing new items.

In other Mafia Wars news, the weekend property upgrade we mentioned yesterday is officially announced and will only apply to the first property you upgrade starting Saturday, September 11. Sadly, both the Zynga Poker and Cafe World cross promotions will end tonight at midnight. So, hop in there and take advantage of collecting stamina points from the poker tables and the limited edition item from Cafe World. Don't fret though, more cross promotions will be coming soon (you think Zynga would let something like that go?).

Woohooooo!!!

Yes, travel to Vegas and explore the new district! It has 3 paths : Fight Path, Social Path and Energy Path...

I have not met the Boss Fight yet.. but be prepare to beat him/her! You will surely need your mafia help on this one.. (or you can simply open 2 tabs, and heal in New York)..

10 Las Vegas Achievements

There are 10 Las Vegas Achievements. At the moment you can only achieve 7 of them. The other three are coming soon around when the six district is released.

• Poker Face - You cant get bronze mastery since District 6 is still locked.
• Leaving Las Vegas - You cant get ruby mastery since District 6 is still locked.
• Hot Slots - Visting a friends slots is a feature not yet enabled.
