New Collection -Vegas Crew Colletion.

I have just checked it that we have new features on the Collection & Vault page. All Collections are being sorted together and we have 3 options of Collection now :

Choose a city, Crew Collection and Special Collection!


Also the new Crew Collections and Vegas collections were released today!

You can see them on your Collection & Vault page and choose Vegas city

VEGAS COLLECTIONS

If you logon into your account you will notice a new message on your homepage.

When you click on the "Get to Work!" button you will be awarded your first item and you can ask your friends to help you find the others. If they find the item, you get one too.

For Crew Collection, you see by choosing the Crew Collections tab.

In order to get your Crew Collections items, you can not directly "Ask for help" from your mafia..

I found it took between 1 to 5 clicks. If you run out of energy, you will have 1 hour to finish the search.

Here you go, guys.. the Vault bonus item..

Crew Collections

These are special types of collections that require your Mafia's help in order to finish. Mission specific items have a rare chance to drop on any job, while others will have to be found by your Mafia through job assistance. Here are some more things to know:

Asking for help -
1. You can only put out 1 request for 1 collection every 48 hours.
2. Up to 5 Mafia Members can help you on a single request only.
3. Once a Mafia member decides to help you, they must have the item drop from a random job. They only have limited time to do so.

Helping your Mafia -
1. You cannot help more than 1 friend at one time.
2. On successfully helping, both you and the friend get the item.
3. You can only help up to 5 friends in a 24 hour period.

Misc -
1. There is no re-vaulting of these collections.
2. You can ask for help once an item drops or straight from the collections page.
3. New crew collections will be added in the future.

It's On In San Juan

New banner on my game tonight. "It's On In San Juan" and the "Fight Starts Thurs 9/2". No additional information is provided. Because of the mysteriousness and the phrase "Fight Starts", this reminds me of the "Feds Are Watching Banner" that we all got sick of looking at. It's probably a safe bet to assume that San Juan will be very similar to The Feds. Let hope all the bugs are gone and this one won't be pulled a few times.

In addition to Events, Zynga also loves to recycle graphics. If the guy on the banner looks familiar to you it's because he already has a home in the game. You can find him the first time you enter Cuba.

Would be more realistic if San Juan was in Cuba but it's the Capital City of Puerto Rico. Maybe the Cuban guy wants to start his life over in San Juan. I bet he wishes Zynga would just leave him alone!

Send Energy Packs To Your Mafia

Another info from Thomas and also to Sankar!

Don't know if this is new but this is an energy pack screenshot and when you click send energy packs it comes up with your mafia like when sending a gift.

I have tried this and although I have more than 500 mafia family, I can also see how many Energy Packs I have in stock..

And we have new feature on sending Energy Packs..

Each of mafia who sent you one pack will able to receive a gift from you.. If you click to send "Thanks" to each of them, they will be able to accept one random item..

The rewards are random... always change everytime you send thanks to your mafia..

So make sure you spend your Energy Pack everyday.. Don't forget to check who have sent you and also kindly "thank" to them...

This way can make everybody's happy!

Energy Pack "Thank You" Item

I got this dialog box when I sent a thanks to my mafia for giving me an energy pack..

It is one of free gift item below.. a Medic Cart!

Crappy item to share, Zynga..

I don't like the idea to have Weapons, Armors, Vehicles and Animals as free gits.. because all of them are NOT giving a good stats on each category..

So why not use this Free Gift feature to only share either Collections, Boosts, Mystery Bags, Rack of Chips, Chop Shop, Weapons Depot, or other items beside those 4 categories above?

They are free but useless for us.. so why bother to send?

New Crime Spree!

Wooohooo! Lots of changing in our game now..
Will try to describe one by one..

First of all, there is a new icon on top of our game.. It is a Crime Spree icon (marked red).. if you click on it you will reach the Crime Spree page.

We also have a new banner of the Crime Spree..

Once you have answered one of your friend's Crime Spree request, you will no longer able to choose the rewards of 100 Experience! Seems like Zynga removed it and changed +10 Stamina to +40 Stamina and still +50 Energy reward.

Also now you can buy your Crime Spree gifts!
So it's no longer just a free gift now.. you can buy your gifts with 2 RPs each!

The most important thing is Zynga updated Crime Spree to let it drop more loot. If you're on level 10, you will receive items when you level up each time till 20. When you reach level 20 (depending on which level you started), you'll receive a special weapon, Trouble Maker (Attack 55, Defense 46).
So gain 10 levels to receive this weapon!

That's it for now.. need to explore these new changes by myself...

Rivals On Fighting List!

Wow, new feature again?
This time if you visit Fight page.. you will see 2 button there..
Random and Rivals!

Random is used to be our previous Fight list.. where we have random mafia there..

Rivals has 2 section.. the one(s) you have attacked and the one(s) who has attacked you!

Naaah, you don't have to go to Player Updates anymore to see who has attacked you! Some players even didn't see it already.. Now you can check on your Fight list and get revenge!

Global Cup Mastered!

One of our friend is quick enough to master the 3 jobs of Global Cup job of this event.. finally he can get the trophy!

Eventhough the stats is not to good for an armor, but I love to have it in my Inventory!

He also have vaulted the Global Cup Collection..

You can find them from the Free Gift, fighting, doing random jobs in any city and the special job of this event.

One last thing, he got the achievement!

Mafia Wars Fix The Global Cup Event

Ok, the event has started several hours ago..
Still for celebrating the 2 years of crime on this game! We have Fix the Global Cup event..

There are 3 things that we have to complete to get the trophy... Check this screenshot, please..

To master the job, you have 3 choices..


Counterfeit the Tickets

5 minutes job, you can earn experience bonus and 20% Chance of Rare Global Cup Collectible or Event Item.

Alter the Vegas Odds

8 hours job, experience bonus and also 50% Chance of Rare Global Cup Collectible or Event Item.

Fix the Global Cup

24 hours job.. yes more experience and 100% Chance of Rare Global Cup Collectible or Event Item.

I have not received any collection from doing the jobs yet.. Too busy at the moment to keep doing the 5 minutes job and hoping to get the 2 collections dropping!

So, we have an armor, a vehicle and an animal from the jobs above.. and we have the weapon from vaulting the collection.. (will post later on about it).

Thanks to our friends who sent the screenshots..


Nobody know what is it about yet..

We have double mastery on job already, now double fight loots.. Is it going to be another double bonus on Robbing or HitList?

I'm sure the name of this event is taken from the Soccer World Cup.. and we might have limited edition items of this event.. I wish!
