Recently Facebook released a series of new features to enhance the social browsing and gaming experience for their users. One of these exciting new features is the Live Ticker Box that can found on the right-hand side of your screen. When you are playing Mafia Wars you will notice that at the top of this ticker is an area which tracks how many Achievements you have earned on your account.
Mafia Wars began to utilize this area of the Live Ticker Box on 09/01/11, and at this time the amount of Achievements that players have earned is not being displayed correctly. This information will take several days in order to populate with the correct numbers, so don't be alarmed if the number of Achievements that you see is incorrect. During the update process the team will also be increasing the number of achievements that can be earned through game-play in the future.
It is important to note that there were not any Achievements removed during this process and that this is a display issue only. In order to verify your Achievements please follow the instructions listed below.
1. Click the Profile button on your account.
2. On the next screen click the Achievements button (Your Achievements). This will populate a list of all the Achievements that are currently available and will show which Achievements you have earned to-date.
We apologize if there was any confusion during this update, and again, rest assured that all of your Achievements are still on your account and the Live Ticker Box will be updated with the correct information in a few days.
