Mafia Wars – CityVille Early Access Promotion for Brazil

Mafia Wars has launched the new Brazil and CityVille is showing you the way in!

Starting on 03/16/11 you can visit CityVille to gain early access to Brazil, and start experiencing all of the exciting new features!

Q:  How does this work?
A:  There will be a link provided in Mafia Wars that will take you to CityVille.  If you have met the minimum requirements in CityVille you will receive a pop-up that that will let you know that you have completed the requirement to gain  early access to Brazil.

Q:  What are the minimum requirements for CityVille?
A:  In order to gain early access to Brazil you must reach a minimum of level 10 in CityVille.

Q:  What happens once I have met the minimum levels in CityVille?
A:  After you receive the pop-up alerting you that you have gained entry into the Brazil, your neighbor bar will be populated with a Mafia Wars character.  By clicking this character you will be taken to your Mafia Wars game and into the Brazil.

Q:  Are there minimum requirements for Mafia Wars that must be met before this will work?
A:  Yes!  In order to unlock Brazil you need to have completed a minimum of 6 levels in Mafia Wars.

Q:  What happens if I don’t have the minimum level requirement for Mafia Wars?
A:  The pop-up that you receive in CityVille will prompt you to visit New York.  Once you have completed the minimum level requirement the early access to Brazil will unlock for you if you have completed the CityVille minimum requirements.

Q:  What happens if I don’t have the CityVille application?
A:  You will be prompted to install the application.  After installing CityVille and completing 10 levels, you will receive the pop-up that you have unlocked Brazil with instructions on how to proceed.

Q:  What if I already have the Air Brazil that I purchased by collecting the Carnival Masks?
A:  If you have the Air Brazil, then you have already earned your early access into Brazil, and will not need to complete the CityVille promotion to gain entry.

Q:  What if I already play CityVille and have reached the minimum requirement?
A:  If you have already reached the minimum level requirement in CityVille, your neighbor bar will automatically be populated with the Mafia Wars character.  After clicking this character you will be provided the instructions on how to proceed.

Q:  Will I see the promotional link even if I haven’t reached the minimum level in CityVille?
A:  Yes.  All Mafia Wars players will see the offer to get early access to Brazil by visiting CityVille.

Q:  I already play CityVille, but do not have a Mafia Wars account.  Can I still get into Brazil?
A:  Yes.  All CityVille players will be shown the offer to take part in the Mafia Wars beta for Brazil.  Once you have reached the minimum requirements by reaching level 6, you will gain entry into the Brazil beta.

Unlike other cities, Brazil is being presented a little differently. Brazil has been created with the intention to allow friends to ‘team up’ on jobs and challenges in a group setting. This allows every player to invite a crew of friends to collect awesome rewards and speed up completion of this new city! Challenges will be difficult and the competition will be strong…be prepared to lose items from robs, vault awesome rewards and play Mafia Wars like never before!

What’s new and Different In Brazil?!

*Going old-school NY-Style with energy jobs and NY-style mastery items
*Properties that generate Energy, Stamina, Consumables, Att and Def Items and a ‘Collect All’ Timer
*Precious Goods Collection, the revaultable and ROB-able Collection
*Brazil Crew (Needed for Category Bonuses)

BRAZIL CREW 411:

*Every User will have an option to recruit ‘Brazil Crew’ of friends to help in: Jobs, Fights, Robs and Properties
*Each category has 2 separate roles (8 Total) that can be filled 1 time per day
*Objective: Activate all 8 roles daily to earn bonuses and protection
*Available Friends Remain in Queue until activated into Category Roles
*Bonuses/Protection will be rewarded at time of activation
*Friends must accept Brazil Crew requests to be added to open queue spots
*When a crew request is accepted, both the sending and receiving party will become part of each other’s crew
*Brazilian Real will be awarded if NO open queue positions are available and a crew request is accepted

The ‘Precious Good’ Collection set is extremely valuable and highly controversial. These items can be collected by robbing properties from Brazil properties. To maximize your Precious Good Inventory….collect from your properties daily and always keep an active Guardman. Remember!!! When another player robs you there is chance these same items will be stolen!!

Robbing in Brazil will be frustrating for every player! Everyone will have an opportunity to steal valuable ‘Precious Goods’ collection items from one another.

*Precious Good Collection items WILL AND CAN be robbed from user properties
*There is no limit to how many Precious Good items can be stolen in any given day
*You can only STEAL one item per player per day [You cannot continually rob the same person]
*1 Precious Good Item will always remain in inventory [9 out of 10 items can be stolen]
*Items Stolen will be at random
*Notes will be placed in Player Update section when Items have been stolen
*Precious Good Items can only be stolen on successful robs
*LOST PRECIOUS GOOD ITEMS WILL NOT BE RESTORED BY CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Properties 411:

*5 Properties will be made available in Brazil
*A new property will unlock when district has been completed at Bronze mastery
*Properties can be collected from every 18 Hours
