Mafia Wars for Chrome

Recently, Zynga released a little app for Chrome that will make it easier for Mafia Wars addicts to get their fix.

What you can do is this:
Step 1: Head to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cpaajdmciceaicpamnglddkegaelimni
Step 2: Sign in with your google account
Step 3: click install

What this will do is add a small app for Mafia Wars in your Chrome "New Tab" where one click, and you will be up and playing at Zynga's Mafia Wars.com site.  And no mess, no fuss, since they use Facebook Connect there, so you will not lose out on posting your bonuses to your wall.

All I can say is, so far, it's a lot simpler then opening a tab, logging into Facebook, then surfing to find the app in your apps bar.  And for the real addicts, you'll be up and running in mere seconds to get your game on!

Governor's Run

Get your friends to rig the election for you in the upcoming Governor's Run! If you want to rise to power quickly, you'll need the help of your mafia members. Send out special invites to your mafia and make sure 9 people cast their vote for you. When you get 9 to show their support, you'll receive the limited edition item, 2nd Amendment, as your reward. With 52 attack and 80 defense, this weapon is sure to come in handy if you're ever in a jam. Remember to return the favor and accept invitations from your mafia as well. Keep an eye out for the Governor's Run.

I can't post / request / ask for help to my wall

Our developers are looking into this.
For players unable to post to their wall, we have had reports that the following steps fix the problem in many cases
1) Clearing your cache in your browser
2) Clearing your cookies in your browser
3) Log out and log back in.

Q: What do I need to do?
A: Find 9 friends willing to support you by clicking on your feed post.

Q: Can I do this event more than once?
A: There is a one-term term limit, so you can only do this once.

Q: Is the 2nd Amendment Mastery Item tradeable?
A: Our country's founders deemed this important enough to include in the Bill of Rights.  Once you have it, it cannot be gifted away.

Q: When does this event start?
A: Governer's Run is scheduled to launch later this week
