Known Free Gift & ZMC Issues (Updated 12/1/2011)

This is the list of Free Gift Issues some players are currently experiencing. It is in this forum that we will keep you up-to-date on our progress toward a solution for each issue, as well as provide any player-submitted workarounds that we’ve confirmed to be effective. You will not be able to reply to threads in this forum, but each issue will contain links to:
1) the issue’s Report A Bug thread, where you can privately submit details to help us develop a solution.
2) the Submit A Workaround forum, where you can share any workarounds you’ve developed.

Error When Trying To Accept Mafia Invites
Issue: Some players report receiving receiving the error message "There was an error with this request" when trying to accept Mafia invites.
Status: Investigating. If you are experiencing this issue, please add your details to this Bug Report.
Workaround: None yet. If you know of a workaround for this issue, please Submit A Workaround.
Gifting Limits for the Incognito Gift Mastery Event Are Too Low
Issue: Some players report that the number of Incognito Gift Mastery gifts they are able to accept daily is too low.
Status: Fix coming soon. We will be bumping the gifting limit back to what past Gift Mastery Events have allowed and extending the Incognito Gift Mastery Event by 1 day.
Only Receiving Blue Mystery Bags In Return
Issue: Some players report receiving only Blue Mystery Bags in return for sending free gifts.
Status: Investigating. If you are experiencing this issue, please add your details to this Bug Report.

Homepage Loading After Sending Free Gifts
Issue: Some players report that, after sending Free Gifts, their screen goes back to the Homepage no matter what page they were actually on when they sent the gift(s).
Status: Investigating. If you are experiencing this issue, please add your details to this Bug Report.
Workaround: None yet. If you know of a workaround for this issue, please Submit A Workaround.
Facebook Game Requests Page
Issue: Some gifts remain on players' Facebook Game Requests page after being accepted.
Status: A fix is currently in development. This is a display issue only. Players are not losing any gifts; the gift list on Facebook is not updating correctly. Also of note is that clicking the "Accept" button on the Facebook Game Requests page no longer accepts the gift. Instead, it brings you into the game, where you can accept all free gifts via the ZMC. This is by design and has made a number of enhancements to the Request experience possible. Learn more here.

"This gift was not sent to you" message

Some players have been reporting that they have been receiving a pop-up message titled, "This Gift Was Not Sent to You".
The reason some players are receiving this message is due to clicking a link that has been generated by a third-party application. The applications that generate these links are not compatible with the game and will generate this message. It should also be noted that each free gift request is sent to a specific account, and can only be redeemed by that account. If a free gift link is shared or copied, it will return the same message if it opened by any player other than one the free gift was designated for.
Because there is not an issue, and players are not losing any gifts there is not a need to submit a ticket for this as Customer Service agents will not be able to make any adjustments or credits to your account over this matter.
